Caring For Your Hat

We recommend regularly washing the inside sweat band with warm water , brush and mild soap and rest of hat as well to avoid accrued stains, stiffening of the band, etc to stop or dilute the effects of perspiration and dirt

SWEAT STAINS
We like using a product called SPRAYWAY (glass cleaner foaming action) because it pulls staining away from hat. See below image You can purchase at many retail shops or on-line including: Amazon, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Tru Value, Costco and Kroger.

Instructions: Spray hat area with Sprayway. Use lukewarm water and sponge and press the stained area. DO NOT SCRUB!!
For heavily sweat stained areas, let soak in lukewarm water for at least 2 hours, then rinse. Set on towel to airdry and repeat if necessary. Soaking hat is recommended and will not hurt the hat's integrity.​

If sweating daily in hats, just rinse in lukewarm water daily, if necessary.

TRAVEL PACKING TIPS
TRAVEL/PACKING TIPS: pack large brimmed hats (Bushies) in suitcase with clothing packed around it. Temporary creases may occur or USE A STEAMER FOR MORE SERIOUS CREASES. Also when away from chilled water, carry a frozen sport bottle for life saving chills anytime. In extreme heat over-soak to create cool drippings. AAHH!!!
